The Perfect Steak
If you've ever wanted to cook the perfect steak, this recipe is for you. It calls for New York/Sirloin Steaks, butter, and a few aromatics, to bring out the best in that cut of meat.

To cook the perfect steak
Pat steaks dry with a paper towel and season on all sides with plenty of salt and pepper. (You can do this the night before and let chill in the refrigerator.) Heat a heavy skillet (preferably a cast iron skillet) with a high heat oil in it. Fry steak on one side until it forms a crust, then flip over and let the other side do the same. Add in butter as well as rosemary and garlic. Once melted, spoon butter infused with aromatics onto steaks, and do so continuously, until steak is cooked to desired level of doneness. Use thermometer to determine doneness.
Rare - 120º Medium Rare - 130º Medium - 140º Medium Well - 150º Well - 160º
Once steak is cooked to your liking, remove from pan and let sit for 10 minutes before cutting into it.
