To make Pumpkin Pancakes with Cinnamon Cream Syrup
Prepare pancakes as directed on package, just add nutmeg and cinnamon, and spoon in enough pumpkin puree to turn batter a light orange color. Cook on greased griddle as usual.
For syrup, put sugar, cinnamon, light corn syrup and water in a saucepan. Place it on your stove set to medium heat and stir continually until it comes to a boil. Once it boils, lower heat and continue stirring for two more minutes. Take saucepan off the burner and let cool for five minutes. Stir in evaporated milk and mix well. Serve while it's still warm and enjoy!
This recipe makes 3 cups of syrup. Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator and reheated when used again.
