Patriotic Poke Cake

  1. To make this patriotic poke cake

    After baking cakes according to directions on package, allow to cool completely. Then use the back end of a wooden spoon to poke holes into cake about an inch apart. Place Jell-O in separate bowls and mix each flavor with 1/2 a cup of boiling water until Jell-O is dissolved. Spoon liquid Jell-O into holes in cake, alternating the colors. Place in refrigerator to chill for 15 minutes. Combine Cool Whip with Marshmallow fluff to make frosting. Frost cakes, and decorate top with fresh fruit. Chill cake 2 hours before serving.
