Basil Pesto
I have always loved pesto...on pasta, sandwiches, pizza, chicken, you name it! But ever since I started growing my own basil, I love it even more. I encourage you to watch the video that accompanies this recipe because making pesto is something you have to do by feel. It's not a recipe where you measure your ingredients. Read on for the ingredients, but then trust your instincts.

To make Homemade Basil Pesto
Place all the ingredients in a food processor and pureé until you have your desired pesto consistency. Squeeze in fresh lemon juice at the end and combine. Transfer pesto into glass jar/s and store in refrigerator.
