These Pistachio Scones are positively scrumptious and they're so easy to make, too. They're not too sweet, just right with that morning cup of coffee.
Whisk together all dry ingredients in large bowl. Cut butter into flour mixture using pastry blender. Combine milk and pistachio extract in small bowl, then add to flour mixture. Stir to form dough. Add pistachios and gently knead evenly into mixture. (If you still have dry flour remaining, add more milk one Tbsp. at a time.)Take half of the dough and place on well-floured surface and shape into a disk (flat round circle). Cut dough into 6 or 8 triangle wedges. Place on cookie sheet. Repeat the process with the other half of the dough. Bake 18-20 minutes in 400ยบ oven.
Sift the powdered sugar into a small bowl. Add milk and pistachio extract and stir well until left with a smooth glaze. Glaze can be used as-is, or you can color it by adding 1 drop of green and 1 to 2 drops of yellow food coloring. Mix well and drizzle icing over pistachio scones while still warm and enjoy!
